Metal Pigging Equipment - Mandrel Pigs
Click image to enlargeMetal Bodied/Mandrel Pigs are pipeline pigs that consist of a metal body which is usually fabricated from carbon steel. For special applications, aluminum and stainless can be used. Pipeline Cups and /or Discs are mounted on the mandrel body. Brushes are mounted between the Cups or Discs on occasion for scraping the pipe wall. Mandrel Pigs are used for Cleaning, Scraping, Gauging and Batching as well as Filling and Dewatering Pipelines.
