PLC Mandrel Brushes
Brushes are used for aggressive cleaning of the internal diameter of pipelines. They are mounted on steel mandrel pig bodies by means of mounting on springs (Spring Loaded Brushes) or on the same bolt circle as the cups and discs of the pig (Ring Brushes). Brushes can be made from hardened steel, stainless steel or Prostran (a nylon material). They can be made from flat wire for heavy scraping and fine wire for more flexibility and cleaning out pits.
