Tracking Equipment

For Onshore Tracking: WaveTrak Pig Tracking Equipment is used for tracking pigs while running through land based pipelines.  The Transmitter mounted inside or at the rear of a pig emits an electromagnetic signal that is picked up by the receiver.  As the operator walks the pipeline they can pick up the signal being emitted by the transmitter to pinpoint the location of a stuck pig.   They are also used to track a pig's movement down the pipeline by laying the receiver's antenna on the ground above the pipeline and as the pig passes the receiver picks up the signal from the transmitter to let the operator know the pig has passed.  The WaveTrak tracking equipment can be used on pigs 6" and up.
For Offshore Tracking: Online Electronics Acoustical Pingers are used for tracking pipeline pigs through subsea pipelines.  The acoustical pinger transmits sound waves through the water and is pickup up by an antenna/receiver. The tracking receiver can be used topside on a boat deck, in conjunction with an ROV, or as a hand held device by a diver.
