Inline Services manufactures many styles and sizes of polyurethane foam pigs for pipelines. There are six standard styles of foam pipeline pigs Inline offers. The foam disc, hand launch, criss cross, bare squeegee, swab, and power brush pigs. They range in size from 2 inches up to 60 inches. These pigs are used for liquid removal, drying, sweeping, general cleaning, and batching. Foam pipe pigs are our most popular style of pig since they are very cost effective and versatile.
What are Polyurethane Foam Pipeline Pigs?
Polyurethane foam pigs are a type of pipeline pig that is made from a flexible and durable polyurethane foam material. Hand Launch™ Bi-Directional Pig

Foam Disc Pigs
These foam pipe pigs have a simple yet effective design, consisting of a foam disc attached to a steel mandrel. They are used for liquid removal, batching, and general cleaning in pipeline applications. They come in a variety of diameters and densities to fit different pipeline requirements.
Criss Cross Foam Pigs
This pig features a unique criss-cross pattern of bristles attached to a foam body, allowing for more aggressive cleaning in pipelines. It is ideal for removing heavy deposits, wax build-up, and other types of debris.
Swab Pig
As the name suggests, this pig is designed specifically for swabbing pipelines. It has a foam body and removable cups or discs that can be changed out for different applications. The swab pig is commonly used for drying, cleaning, and batching operations.
Bare Squeegee
This foam pipe pig has a simple design, consisting of a foam body and a flexible squeegee blade. It is used for general cleaning and liquid removal in pipelines without causing any damage to the internal coating or lining. The bare squeegee pig is available in various sizes and densities.
Power Brush® Pig
This pig is designed for more aggressive cleaning applications, featuring polyurethane foam discs with wire brushes attached to them. It is commonly used for removing scale, rust, and other hard deposits in pipelines.

The Hand-Launch Pig is an easy to use, single piece, bi-directional construction pig. This product is manufactured from flexible polyurethane foam and molded with circular grooves made from a blended elastomer coating which allows for the pig to handle long-wear applications and helps to prevent the pig from damaging the pipeline. The grooves throughout the body act as the pigs scraping element making it very beneficial and applicable for multiple cleaning jobs. The Foam Disc Pig is one of the most efficient liquid removal pigs available. The polyurethane foam body is molded with circular grooves across its body to provide a series of wiping edges. These grooves are coated with a polyurethane elastomer, which improve the wiping action and increase its wear resistance. Because of its unique multiple disc design, by-pass is minimal.

The Criss Cross and Criss Cross Wire Brush pigs are made up of a foam body coated with urethane in a criss cross pattern. This pig has great wiping action. Spiral wire brushes can be wound around the pig for scraping purposes. Standard Criss Cross pigs come with a bullet nose and a dished end; however, double dished ends are an option.- Sizes 2" - 60"

The Swab pigs are manufactured using open cell polyurethane foam. These pigs are used for proving, sweeping and drying lines. The flexible nature of these pigs makes their bend radius greater than other poly foam pigs. One of the ends is coated with Inline’s MAXITHANE™, our custom blend of polyurethane.- Sizes 2" - 60"

This bullet shaped foam pig is used for drying and wiping pipelines. The body is manufactured using flexible polyurethane foam and coated with Inline’s MAXITHANE™, our custom blend of polyurethane, on the dished base.- Sizes 2" - 60"

The Power Brush Pig is an open cell polyurethane foam pig that is completely enclosed with flame hardened steel bristles for maximum action. The polyurethane foam does not touch the pipe wall because it is completely coated with tough brushes, therefore, minimum tensile stress and wear is imposed on the foam. The bristles on this pig clean more efficiently than bristles on other foam pigs.- Sizes 2" - 60"
